Vanessa Hans is Head of Private Sector at the Basel Institute on Governance. In her role, she leads a team of compliance and Collective Action specialists, taking a dual approach to engaging and strengthening the private-sector response to corruption risks in business transactions: by advancing anti-corruption Collective Action, and through technical assistance to private corporations and government agencies.

Vanessa is Board member of the United Nations Global Compact Network Switzerland and Liechtenstein, as well as a member of the Anti-Corruption Leaders Hub of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) under the Global Initiative to Galvanize the Private Sector as Partners in Combatting Corruption.
