Stéphane Mahieu is head of AML/CFT policy, analysis and cooperation at the French supervisory authority ACPR. He joined that agency in 2000 and held there several positions related to AML/CFT, including head of AML/CFT legal affairs, and head of AML/CFT off-site supervision. Stéphane also spent part of this career on secondment at the Basel Committee Secretariat, at the French Treasury and at the Financial Stability Board Secretariat, where he worked on issues related to information exchange, correspondent banking as well as the Legal Entity Identifier.
