Martin joined Companies House in 2019 having spent the majority of his career working for the Welsh Government in various policy roles including economic development and inward investment, public health, education and social policy in relation to children and families. His most recent role in Welsh Government was Deputy Director for Community Safety leading on the Welsh Government’s approach to crime, justice, civil contingencies and emergency planning. As well as leading on strategy, policy and communications for Companies House, Martin is the Board lead on our environmental priorities and also supports the Intelligence and Enforcement Service.
