Arjun is currently working for Santander Corporate & Investment Banking and is a legal, compliance and risk advisor with a specialist focus in trade, financial sanctions and ESG. He is experienced in financial services, energy and international trade.

Arjun previously led the Trade Compliance team at Shell Trading & Supply, which covered sanctions, trade controls and customs. He has held roles in banking, as the Head of Sanctions for HSBC UK. Prior to HSBC, Arjun was a management consultant at Deloitte advising financial services firms on financial crime risk. He was called to the Bar in England and Wales in 2009 and has experience practicing as a legal advisor and consultant in commercial and public law.
