Andrea is the Director of Specialist Directorate, including amongst others. Financial Crime Market Intervention, Fraud & Financial Crime Policy and Office for Professional Body Anti-Money Laundering Supervision (OPBAS).

Andrea joined the FCA in 2006, having spent several years in private practice as a commercial litigation lawyer, and became a Director in 2018. She spent 14 years in Enforcement, specialising in complex, high profile, cutting-edge enforcement investigations, cases and projects.

Since 2020, Andrea has worked in cross-cutting roles, including jointly leading the FCA’s ambitious transformation programme and as Chief of Staff to the FCA’s CEO, Nikhil Rathi. During this time, she was also interim Director of Communications.

Andrea is currently the Chair of the International Organization of Securities Commissions Monitoring Group and the Monitoring Group Steering Committee
