Andy is a patient-focused and values-based enterprise leader with a strong sense of justice, a passion for innovation and problem-solving, and the ability to influence others by connecting ideas and data. He promotes critical thinking within trust-based relationships.

Currently, Andy serves as the Vice President of Global Excellence and Transformation at Astellas, a Tokyo-listed innovative life sciences company with a presence in over 40 countries. In this role, he is responsible for the ABAC and healthcare code compliance programs and oversees the strategy to maintain and enhance Astellas’ enterprise ethics and compliance program.

Before this position, Andy was the Head of ABAC at GSK, where he led the reinvigoration of their ABAC program following allegations of misconduct in China. He also implemented the Woolf Report in response to allegations of misconduct, primarily in the Middle East, at BAE Systems. In the interim, Andy worked as a consultant at Deloitte, specializing in ABAC compliance program design, implementation, and assurance, and was involved in fraud and corruption investigations across Africa and the former Soviet Union.
